Must be nice. I saw two on my commute home from work today, in fact.

A sarcasm detector? That's a real useful invention!

It's hilarious how many I see that are wrapped - the wrapped ones far outnumber unwrapped. Why did you pay so much for a stainless steel truck just to wrap it? If everyone is wrapping them, why bother with the heavy stainless steel?

I saw a meme the other day with one that was wrapped to look like an F-150. ... just....why? You can buy an electric F-150 if that's what you want.

Oh yeah. "You're safer being ejected from the car in a crash. My cousin's ex husband's sister's daughter survived a crash that way!"

I'm a little surprised Trump hasn't signed the "Asbestos Fibers Are Our Friends" Executive Order.

There is an update with a clarification that says income won't be considered:

Update, April 16, 2025: On April 15, the Department of Education filed an amended declaration, clarifying that for the ICR, IBR, and PAYE plans, “married borrowers filing separate income tax returns or separated from their spouses will have the spouse counted in the family size for the purposes of calculating monthly payment amount under IDR plans.” The declaration removes the reference to spousal income being factored in for married borrowers who file separate tax returns.

Witnessed a car crash a few years ago right in front of me because of this. I was the second car in line heading south at a traffic light. When our light turned green, a car heading west in the late afternoon ran the red light and smashed into the car in front of me.

I saw them coming and said, "Watch out!" but of course that did no good. The driver of the westbound car said she lost the traffic light in the sun and didn't realize it was red. I have no idea why you'd continue on at 40 mph if you weren't sure you had a green light, but here we are.

I had chosen that route home intentionally to avoid driving into the sun. Had I been the first car in that line, I might have been involved in the crash despite my caution.

Manslaughter might be excessive, but I understand his anger. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior.

I don't know why this is funny, but I'm laughing anyway. Last Place is really out there sometimes.
