I literally live in a country that's hotter than the US and this rarely if ever happens. I'm not sure it's just media bias.

[-] lorty@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago

I don't understand why this is so common in the US.

Wait, was this heralded as some live service forever game?

[-] lorty@lemmy.ml 19 points 5 days ago

Are you saying that, post pandemic, people don't commute to have meetings online?

Xenophobia propped up by political groups. Many official immigration programs existed in the 19th century that, when allowed to, had immigrants integrated into society.

I just want to build requests and read the responses, why the hell does everyone suddenly want me to make an account?

Your favorite movie, series, or anything else really that you can't find a community here (or maybe it just doesn't exist)

I know my way around a command line. I work in IT, but when it comes to my personal fun time more often than not I'm quite lazy. I use windows a lot because just plugging in anything or installing any game and it just working is great.

But support for windows 10 is ending and I should probably switch sonner rather than later, so I'm wondering if Arch would be a good pick for me? For reference, I mostly game and do Godot stuff in my free time.

No, YAML can fuck right off. I hate that this shit format is used for cloud stuff.

We'll be getting the job previews, supposedly.

One big project or multiple smallers ones? What do you think?

Seems like too much work to me, so I started getting duplicate pieces just to save the hassle, but a few guildies said I was crazy.

I got my UWU clear last month so I'm kind of just doing nothing in the game, since I dont think I can prog TEA from the beginning before DT.

Yeah it was fun in the beginning, after all who never thought about being transported to another world where you ate a big hero with swords and magic?

But what the hell, I'm pretty sure there's more isekai now than other genres/settings. It's gotten to a point that if I see the tag I just move on.

This update feels a bit smaller than I expected, but it's been fun for me. Don't know how long I'll keep playing before moving to other games again though.

Right now, we feel that Lemmy and ActivityPub have downsides that are limiting us from achieving that goal.

Could you expand on this? How exactly does these things prevent you from Being Nice, if that's the goal of your community?

[-] lorty@lemmy.ml 90 points 7 months ago

Damn, wasn't expecting actual OCD.

[-] lorty@lemmy.ml 69 points 8 months ago

But have you considered the following:

Capitalism good because freedom and innovation.

Bet you feel dumb now.

[-] lorty@lemmy.ml 91 points 9 months ago

I'd rather deal with this supposedly "toxic" lemmy userbase than sift through a thousand comment post where 900 are bot reposts on reddit

They want cheap workers, not more.

Be very careful. An expensive mattress, if you care for it, can last a long time and will definitely help with your pains. But just because it is expensive does not mean it is actually good, let alone good for you specifically. There are many types of different mattresses and you should take some time to find one for you.

TLDR: lie down on it before buying.
