I realize I never replied, but thank you! I got into contact with them and am now in the final stages of getting it all set up to start in a couple months. They seem awesome and I am excited to work with them!

That's awesome! Maybe I'll get a flashcart and play through it.

Yeah, that's a possibility. I did fly the router all the way here but if I really can't use it I will go wired. Sadly I couldn't get WiVRn working on wired, and ALVR had really bad performance.

I tried this and was able to set a colorscheme in qt5/6ct that stuck in nheko (with QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct), but it still has the same icons issue in Dolphin. pcmanfm-qt also has the icons missing.

Yeah, I did find the page, but it assumes you're doing a command line install whilst I was using the graphical installer. Now that I know more about Nix I think I should've gone for a CLI install, but I don't know if I will stick with it due to the themeing issues.

I wore a Pinetime for a while, sadly the touchscreen can't beat the Pebble's buttons. I'd buy a Pinetime with buttons and a non-touch reflective LCD in a heartbeat though! I was looking at BangleJS or Watchy as replacements but I'm really unsure about the durability and how usable they'd be (I need just the time and notifications, maps/navigation is a big plus tho).

Wow yeah, your position sounds awesome. I guess if I were in an indie studio I could be in charge of the engine or like, dev environments. I've found such benefit in doing gamedev on Linux, even if targeting Windows via cross-compiling, it's so much faster and nicer. But what company would be willing to hire an intern to move over their whole workflow... not happening lol.

This is a good option for most of it, as the bridges seem quite solid. Sadly it won't make up for calls (some courses have extra content in the form of "Discord Stages" which is like a big video call).

Thanks for the recommendation! Using it now, works great. Do you know whether development ia continued anywhere? It doesn't look to have been updated in many years, but F-Droid doesn't mark it as unmaintained.

What does a hosted RSS provider give you over a normal client? I use Nextcloud News (self hosted) but I don't really know the benefit over just using an RSS app on my phone (besides syncing my list I guess).

Good to know! I had it for data saving since I was on a metered connection, but that's no longer the case. Will get rid of it. Might still be useful on Android though, no? As for Privacy Badger, I mostly use it for getting rid of embedded widgets like those weird third-party comments on articles and such.
