My second, and likely last, shave of #Rocktober. Finding the time to shave with an infant is nigh impossible. Really loving this soap, though, it really is a winner.

This is my first shave since September. My beard was almost impossible to deal with. Super wiry, felt like it was stabbing me. Took 5 passes to get rid of everything, and on multiple occasions I had to take the blade out and rinse it because hair was building up in the razor.
I’m happy to go with Fanzine Saponifications for this my first #rocktober shave. Not only does it have a pleasant scent, it has wonderful slickness that made this challenging shave all the easier. Really impressed on my first go-around with this soap.

I hadn’t shaved in about 2 weeks so even the OCMMOC had trouble mowing down my beard. Ultimately I had some irritation but that’s what you get for not shaving for nearly 2 weeks.

It was a pleasure to break up Soap Commander Sample September with Steady. This annual event really demonstrates to me how wonderful this community is.

Soap Commander September continues to disappoint. I find it very hard to dial in this base and my face is paying for it. The scents are all pleasant, so that’s nice, although none of them really jump out at me.
Yeah, they have a nice scent. Nothing to write home about but it’s quite pleasant. Performance is another matter.
Yep, several times per week. Now my last shave was apparently 11 days ago.

Sample September is Soap Commander September since I have a lot of Soap Commander samples.
As usual I had trouble with the base and felt the scent was nice but not remarkable.

This is actual my fifth shave this AA, I’ve been remiss in posting.
Is been so long since my last shave that the blade went bad so I replaced it.
Brush continues to be awesome.

Sub Moos showed up yesterday and I was psyched to try it. The scent is slightly different from Irisch Moos (some have said it’s more like the EdT which I’ve never tried), but truth is I prefer this version of the scent to the original. And the mutton tallow base knocks it out of the park as always—I think it may be my favorite.
