DNS66 is also very good, but the last update was 3 years ago.

The dns only option can be selected by tapping the arrow icon next to the start/stop button.

Firewall -> universal firewall rules. Or you can run it in dns mode only if you dont want to block any apps.

~~System is Arch Linux. NTFS-3G is installed. I have had this problem on Gnome (Nautilus) and KDE (Dolphin). I already tried fixing it with Testdisk. No success. Any help is appreciated.~~

UPDATE: I have re-formatted the disk and it is working now. Thank you for all your suggestions and tips.

You could have just used yt-dlp (open source): https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases

In the uBlock Origin Settings -> Filter Lists check lists named "annoyances" and "newsletters" or try other additional ones. That should help.

I thought you could disable that in the settings.

I would love to find extensions that make me think "How did I live without this?"

I just want to play Magic the Gathering Online. I need it for nothing else. It runs like ass under WINE and even Proton. So if there is any other way I can do this, without going the nuclear option, I don"t even need to setup a VM for it.

The easier way is to just get an arcade emulator. Run it on your Desktop PC or make your own emulation machine with a Raspberry Pi. Although you need the game images (called Roms), which you can legally read and backup with original copies, or you can put on your pirate hat and find them on the internet, or so I've heard, allegedly.

Update: My GP put me on a strict diet (no cheese, eggs, saturated fats, fiber, ...), basically anything that is hard to digest. Took my regular dose today. No pain yet (4 hours in). So fingers crossed. Also a big thank you to everyone for caring :)

[-] nebulaone@lemmy.world 12 points 10 months ago

Alright, will do. I'm a bit worried that my GP will just stop prescribing me a refill, but it's better than losing my pancreas, I guess.

[-] nebulaone@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago

I had practically zero side effects in the first week. Unfortunately the pain is so severe that I have to lay down, drenched in cold sweat.

I know I should be asking my doctor, but even though getting an appointment with a neurologist is free, it takes months where I live.

My problem is that I sometimes have severe pain in the stomach and abdomen. I have had acute Pancreatitis in the past and I fear it might become chronic (pancreas digesting itself).

Is this just a coincidence or does Methylphenidate damage my pancreas further?

Additional info:

  • I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 6

  • This is the first time I am taking medication

  • Daily Dose is 30mg total (extended release 15mg and 15mg)

  • I am not on any other medication

I am tending towards a RaspberryPi with PiHole. Would there be any advantage with an OpenWRT router if it's just plugged into the ISPs router anyways?

It's all done in good spirit, although you occasionally have some borderline racists, which are usually banned.

For those who don't know: It's a subreddit where Europeans shit-talk other European countries and could be considered racist.
