Where I live it’s common enough that there is a stall in the farmers market that sells horse meat and sausage.

A temperature scale from 0-100 for me implies that the perfect temperature for most people would be right in the middle at 50F. If 0 is too cold and 100 too hot, 5 should be just right, and it ain’t.

No cup of flour will have the same amount of flour in it. Plus how many tomatoes do I need for one cup of chopped tomatoes?

Plus weighing sticky stuff is much easier than using cups or spoons.

So by this logic I would expect 50F to be the perfect temperature.

The em dash is a dead giveaway as well

Didn’t know about vinegar. I got both and they are working great! Thanks for the tip!

Does it block YouTube ads?

I acknowledge your point. Maybe I came across too harshly due to some baggage about it. Especially an episode from the podcast 99% invisible about the US national parks.

I think that’s a fair point.

Plenty of countries have national parks btw. Many of them had them before America. While the American ones are indeed geographically amazing, I am tired of thinUS exceptionalism that the US is the only country that has national parks.

But no matter how good it is, it will never be called champagne

After a fatal lab accident which killed Dee Dee, he focused his life work on creating her again from scratch, as he could not bear the guilt.

Hi all, my brother is getting married soon, and I will be giving a speech at the reception.

Last year I was a plus one to a wedding, and someone read this beautiful poem about love in the modern age. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find it, and I haven’t been able to get an answer through the person I knew at the wedding.

The poem basically describes mundane situations in modern life. The main one I kind of remember revolved about being in an airport and possibly missing a flight.

Alternatively I am also open to suggestions of poems about how love is in the day to day mundane, and not only in big gestures.

Thanks in advance!

Hi all, glad I found this community from the 3D printing one.

I’m looking to build. 2.4 and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good kit on Europe.

I did some googling, but most results I find are US or way too expensive.

I’m hoping to spend around €1000 without printed parts if possible, but willing to spend more for good quality parts.

Thanks in advance!

I do believe the biggest impact would come from regulating large companies and billionaires, but it’s not one or the other.

I imagine it would destroy the engine and the transmission, but it's just a guess.
