Not even the month before, literally during. Voting had already started.

Reminder there's a good chance Musk himself is a pedo. Even if you ignore the fact that he is at a minimum okay with rape including of children as he's a Trump supporter, one of the first big things that reached wide public consciousness showing what a shitbag he is was when he randomly started calling the one guy a pedo based on absolutely nothing in a way that felt like hyper projection during the whole "kids stuck in a cave" thing when the guy pointed out how shitty Musk's rescue idea was and why it wouldn't work

Wow, the guy who bragged about how he sexually assaults anyone he finds attractive, talked about how he had the same "on the younger side" tastes as his best friend Jeff, talked about how he liked hosting beauty pageants because it gave him an excuse to walk in on girls while they were changing, etc emboldened other people to act the same way? Utter shock. This could never have been anticipated

It's more of a concept of an attempt at an assassination

Like, even ignoring Musk's whole everything now, it's just one of the ugliest vehicles ever designed. Regular Teslas at least look okay if you ignore Musk himself, but the cybertruck looks like they just took a particularly untalented 1st grader's drawing of a vehicle and just went "Make that"

It's wild that such intense questions like "Can you identify a giraffe?", "Can you draw a clock?", "Can you count backwards by 7s?", and "Who is the current president?" was apparently such a grueling ordeal for Donald that he's still bragging about it years later.

Depends on the state. Looks like Carter is registered in Georgia. According to an article from 2020 when Republicans were bald face lying that long dead people were voting a lot, someone from the Georgia Secretary of State's office is quoted as saying secrecy rules don't allow rejecting a ballot when a voter dies before Election Day.

“You can’t go back and get that ballot back out. It’s just physically impossible, given the privacy rules in our state,”. May or may not still be accurate, or may have never been accurate, but that's what the first article I found when searching says.

Similarly, the Guinness of the beer and the Guinness of the book of records are the same Guinness. Michelin started as a tire company when there were only approximately 4000 cars in all of France, their home country, and started the restaurant guide as a way of increasing demand for travel, and therefore cars, and therefore tires for cars. Guinness the brewery started the list of records as something to keep on hand to settle arguments in pubs

I'm partial to "The question I get asked by religious people all the time is, without God, what’s to stop me from raping all I want? And my answer is: I do rape all I want. And the amount I want is zero. And I do murder all I want, and the amount I want is zero. The fact that these people think that if they didn’t have this person watching over them that they would go on killing, raping rampages is the most self-damning thing I can imagine"

Syndrome was at least somewhat sympathetic, you can see how he got to where he was. Musk is more like Tighten, a loser who lucked into his "power" and abuses it thinking he's owed and still thinks he's a hero

Stalking would be one thing, reads to me like the idea is training a language model on the ex's texts to create an AI partner that acts like them so you can pretend nothing happened, which while probably safer for the other person than being stalked (as long as the training texts are never leaked which is a big if) is just sad

Nintendo Switch cartridge based games have a file that's unique to each individual cartridge. The dumper and accompanying flash cart make use of that file. If Nintendo detects two people playing while connected to the internet with the "same" cartridge, there's a high chance of them banning both consoles. So any used game anyone buys after this point runs the risk that someone dumped it, maybe an old owner who resold, maybe someone who bought and returned it, etc, which means even a legitimate user who hasn't even heard of the flash cart could get banned. There's also the potential issue of people using the tech in the flash cart once people figure out how to use those chips to sell bootlegged reproduction cartridges that have the same issue
