Is it sad the first thing that came to mind is how nice it is you have a sidewalk all the way there. Most places around here you're either on the road or in the bushes trying to walk places.

A win is a win, so the Americans should take it were they can but this will just push costs elsewhere. I image they'll just recoup the profit on the next 10 most popular drugs were they can gouge. We really need to start talking about comprehensive healthcare reform, a revolution so to speak, that stops this stupid patchwork and actually give us universal healthcare.

I've been a fence sitter and contrarian for most of my life. As a person that hates how both parties operate and I firmly believe that structural and systematic changes need to happen to the US system of governance. For that to happen we need those that have conservative viewpoints in order to create a balanced system in which we all can live in. It's disconcerting to see the vitriol espoused from both sides of the (US) political spectrum. It's feels like a pendulum swinging wider and wider threatening to throw itself off.

I'm a firm believer to the Forward Party's thesis that a minority of voters is now dictating policy being done to the detriment of the majority. I believe that the system allows for bomb throwers like Lauren Boebert to exist because she only has to represent a vocal minority. I believe that dark money from superPACs is manipulating public discourse to the point that rational discourse is almost impossible.

I guess what I'm getting at is that there are those that believe in the old guard republicanism and conservatism, the small government and fiscally conservative ideals/planks. We should allow those voices to speak up if only for forming ideas and policy that the majority of us can accept. I don't know, it just feels that as we grow more divided in our politics the harder it will be to create new polices and visions for a better Country. The adage from Clausewitz always comes to mind, "war is a continuation of policy by other means."

This ones different because we don't have a "smooth" transition of power to another government. This is the total collapse of Putin's autocratic government which he set up over 20 years of ruling. We had randos on twitter talk about how Wagner forces were talking over nukes. During the soviet collapse, Russia's military had complete control of it's nuclear arsenal. We get front row seats to the collapse, an analogy would be the train wreak in East Palestine whereas the World is the town and the train is Russia.

Swan Lake

If Moscow stations start playing this, it's a probable sign that the Coup is legitimate and the transition has started. Bonkers to think think that in our lifetime we'd see the collapse of a nuclear power. Even if Putin and his government survive this Coup, I don't think he'll have any political capital left to lead. By 8:00pm EDT, we'll have a pretty good idea who's left standing.

Good. This deal would have killed Activision as we know it. Microsoft would continued their strategy of Embrace, Extend, Extinguish.

They could have created better licensing models. It does rely on people honoring the agreements but besides countries that disregard IPs I think its a viable model. Their business is social media, not curating datasets.

I hope more follow their lead. Reddit only exists because of moderators pruning the spam. Nothing will send a message better than unmoderated subs

It won't last. If sufficient numbers move over to redreader then they'll male more stimulations to force users to move to their official app
