What a goddamn weirdo
Those pins come on the end of guitar strings, so there's no need to replace it. When you get new strings, you'll basically just slide the unfinished end through the hole there and then pull it through until the pin catches.
I have clear memories of the pastor at my parents' church talking about how the gay agenda's next steps were legalizing bestiality and pedophilia. Probably would've been somewhere around 2014-2015. Looking back, it was absolutely the beginning of the end of me having anything to do with religion, so maybe it's actually the best sermon I ever sat through.
The article goes into this in great depth on both sides of the issue, but this is probably the most direct answer.
The drinks, dispensed by nurses as a form of medication, are meant to prevent the clients from becoming overly intoxicated while avoiding the worst effects of withdrawal, which may lead to seizures and can be fatal for those physically dependent on alcohol.
To address the "taxpayers expense" part, it's way more expensive to provide major health care than small amounts of vodka.
Well that's the strongest argument for making a Bluesky account that I've heard
Florida/DeSantis did it at least once last year. Although Texas was seemingly heavily involved in that too...
Careful, I'm sure there's some asswipe from where I grew up who wants to throw a bunch of guns in and walk away to let them "sort it out" or some shit. If you go redneck enough reality begins to satirize satire.
This new research has shown a specific protein is present in the blood and placenta in individuals with preeclampsia. That protein is also being investigated as a cause (or at least indicator) of Alzheimer's and lasting damage from traumatic brain injuries. Seemingly that's the only link so far, this particular protein. Assuming all this is repeatable and there's causation, the protein is probably a step along the way to a root cause.
I didn't know he had a new album coming out. Now I do. And now we're all talking about it. That's all they're looking for, more people discussing it so it's back of mind when it actually drops.
Meta has repeatedly introduced features intended to scrape larger amounts of data about our lives and tie it all into one big profile that they can sell. This area of the internet feels like one of the few remaining areas that they haven't reached, and I'd bet everything I have that's why they're introducing this. I couldn't be more strongly against allowing them a way to link my data here with the data they have from my usage of their existing products. While I understand the idea of open federation to allow disparate communities to interact, one of the lines I'll draw is letting a massive corporation in like that.
It's probably guns. That guy who shot all those people at the music festival in Vegas snuck a small arsenal into his room and they didn't notice until the shooting.
