A proper return to 'Don't Feed the Trolls'

I bought a garmin specifically to help me navigate moving on my own halfway across the USA. It was my first time moving out. It was my first time on such a long drive by myself. Lots of firsts. (I actually forgot my phone back home, since the garmin was its own device, I was more focused on having that than my cheap ass phone. Wound up pulling into a Walmart to buy a Tracfone lol)

Prior to that I used MapQuest a lot

A lot of good cooking is in technique. What's something that you discovered or was told that really changed something meaningful for you? For me, I had struggled a lot to make omelettes. They always wound up becoming scrambled eggs because I sucked at flipping them over to cook on the other side (I like my eggs cooked pretty well so this was important to me.) Finally, watching someone else make an omelette, I noticed they didn't flip it. They put a lid on the pan, turned the heat down, and let the top cook that way. I tried it myself and now I make almost perfect omelettes every time. Have you had anything like this happen to you? If so, what was it?

Last time I asked that the only thing they liked was that I briefly held a job that wasn't related to the field at all. It was working at a library. "I thought that was neat."

That was it. Nothing else was noteworthy.

It's more likely than you may think.

I recently read them all back to back. It's been fun, I appreciate the consistency of style and humor while the jokes age up over time.

Certainly. The joke is the phenomenon known as Carcinisation. The idea that 'everything winds up a crab' in evolution.

Your rage is justified and the phrase "It's an attack on our personal space" absolutely nails it.

When I moved over I searched for versions of all my reddit communities. Sadly, a lot of them are inactive, but I subbed anyway just in case. Then I went onto all and looked for the top handful that had stuff I liked. Now I mostly stick to my subscribed and flip over to all if I run out.

The fact that this meme is using Smithers is particularly ironic

I am a woman whose father was an abusive narcissist, the list of what I needed and didn't get is depressing to say the least. So I'll boil it down to its essence: Be there when needed. Remember she is her own person, not an extension of you. Try to make her life better than your own. Let your love be unconditional. It may not be helpful advice, but it's all I got for ya.

So glad that my team is largely composed of busy tech folk because going "Sorry I was multitasking" is a valid response haha.

Thank you very much.
