Lmao...I guess lemmy.ml didn't want to be unfair to Australians!
I just think this guy was clearly wearing something that covers his face.
Oh no, somebody call the police /s
Oh wait, I guess they did. I guess he's lucky he wasn't shot...
(I didn't downvote you, I assume you're playing devil's advocate or the like)
I like the idea of a healthy life rather than measuring it in raw years.
Must be all the preservatives they put into junk food! Lol
Because they're okay with convicted felon Donald Trump becoming the president of the USA again, lol
Or are they helping both?
Actually, I've read that voter apathy tends to help Right-wing parties. If that's true and accurate, then independents who don't vote for either would be helping Trump.
Yes, you're right. There is more they can do to influence things. But on election day, only the vote truly counts.
I agree with you there.
I'm also (obviously) against the genocide.
I just think Trump would be worse in every way, including regarding the genocide (and other potential future genocides and/or wars).
There's a lot of malware that just chills in the background and hides itself well (e.g., auto-shuts down whenever task manager is opened), and does little to impact you aside from using some of your system's resources.
Think being part of a botnet used for DDOS attacks, or a cryptominer that runs whenever you aren't using much of your hardware's capabilities.
Yes, if voters who vote Republican or flip between Republican/Democrat decide not to vote for Trump, then that would help Biden win.
That isn't guaranteed. And the voters don't really have any control over that.
I interpreted what they said as "in this election".
And even then, I also knew (from context) that they wouldn't continue to vote Democrat if the party changed so drastically.
Words matter, but so do context and inferences/implications
