@li10

@Clbull

I very much enjoy the first movie. I have watched it several times and still enjoy going back to it. I absolutely agree the plot is puddle-deep, as you said, and it makes no attempt at all to disguise its analogies ("unobtanium"), but it's mastery is not in the story itself but the way in which it is told. It's almost operatic in the amount of time it spends within each story beat. The second film failed to do a lot of the things I loved about the first one and was very forgettable.

Big bump for Sundered if you like 2D Metroidvanias. I have played through it at least 5 times (you need to do it 3 times to get all the endings)

Yeah, the amount of work that has gone into these for a one-time purchase of $25 is a pretty great deal.

FTTP actively encourages a two party system. We need to change the way we vote so we can have better candidates and better representation.

I would say regulated capitalism in a nutshell. Raw capitalism wants to pay workers as little as possible for as much production as possible.

Possibly the dust is so caked on it's harder to wipe through all of it?

The 2 party system doesn't change until voting changes. First-past-the-post voting actively encourages 2 dominant parties. Ranked choice voting isn't perfect, but it's definitely better than FTTP and it has the most momentum in the US right now.

Ahh, the LSR (Lump Stick Rectangle) model. Miss those.

How do I do "front pages" in kbin?
Where do I go to only see posts from magazines I'm subscribed to?
Where do I go to only see microblog posts from users that I follow?

I love that it's fricking 9:30 PM and there's still light in the sky. Summer is the best.
