I've got a Wi-Fi extender that I use when I'm working out back, but my phone will randomly connect to it when I'm in the house and would prefer it connect to the home Wi-Fi.

is there any way yet to tell my phone to prioritize a network?

like I lived through the brick to flip phone to smartphone era, but I can't remember what features I was looking at on these flip phones when I was deciding which one to buy. do you guys remember?

so I've got a Google pixel 6, and a Google pixel 8. I exported the settings from revanced on the 6 and sent them to the 8. I've double checked that background play is turned on for everything, but background play doesn't work for live streams on my Google pixel 8. background play still works for normal videos, and the background play works for live streams on my Google pixel 6.

is there a setting I'm missing?

I want to send a thank you to a local government official. getting flowers delivered is like minimum $50 these days so fuck that. something like a gift card might be inappropriate for a government employee to accept.

I know that movies "based on real events" typically take a great deal of artistic license.

in the film The Greatest Beer Run Ever, our main character witnesses a few things that really did happen in Vietnam, and really were kept secret at the time, such as military action occurring in places where the government said it wasn't, and some CIA war crimes.

but, one additional thing is that our main character sees the Americans blow a hole in the embassy wall after the attack on the embassy, I think it was a stray round from a tank or something. when the press shows up, they are all told that it was VC sappers who did it, and our main character tries to correct the record.

whenever I try looking this up, it's all references to this film, but all of the Rddit threads I can find about it have the responses deleted which is weird.

was this entirely fabricated for the film?
