I only read about half of that book but it had an incredible impact on my life. It didn't impact my financial success but rather my emotional inteligence.

No but I think it's naive to think otherwise. I'm not saying they're stealing your banking info but I absolutely believe they're collecting data on the actions you take ingame.

Personally I use memos as a Google Keep replacement. There are mobile apps for it as well called moememos.

Check out https://usememos.com

Windows 11 on my main desktop, Debian + KDE on my garage desktop, and Debian on my home server and cloud server.

I only know how to do it manually by editing the url. Say you want to visit "asklemmy" on lemmy.ml and "asklemmy" on beehaw, but through lemmy.ml. The two URLs for this look like:

lemmy.ml/c/asklemmy lemmy.ml/c/asklemmy@beehaw.org

This may be a bad example because I don't know if beehaw actually has an asklemmy community.

Exactly, can't join another instance if they don't accept your application.

I can't quite pin down why exactly, but I've pivoted hard towards self-hosting these past few months. My biggest issue at the moment is finding a Gmail alternative.
