I am not a programmer. But I have been using github as an end user for years, downloading programs I like and whatnot. Today I realized there are stars on github. Literally never even noticed.
I believe Knulli supports it and generally works great for the other normal stuff. I am not 100% on the music player as I do not use handheld gaming devices for music. It's a batocera fork.
Most video games work perfectly in Linux now...
Honestly I recommend the version made specifically for your distro. I haven't had the best luck with flatpak but the ones made for Debian, rpm, etc always work great
