These were minor outages. Not excusing AI. Just saying

Man, good thing phones are really good and can be held onto for a while. Not getting all crappy after a year.

Have you all heard of the weekly podcast from Scott Johnson and @BrianDunaway@mastodon.social called Play Retro?

I've loved Elementor for so long. It's the page builder that I default to most of the time when I'm building sites for my clients at my agency. But lately it's gotten so bloated and hard to use.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've build a few with the native block editor and I'm liking where that's finally heading.

Thought this was an interesting piece from WP Beginner. Granted it might be a bit bias being that the site is a WP site. But, I've seen these #'s elsewhere as well.

I won't use regular Vanilla FF. I do like Zen tho!

Brand new Lenovo on Windows 11. 32 GB of ram and 1tb SSD. Works great, mostly, until it has trouble waking up from sleep.

LOL Anyone else have a tired Win 11 computer?

Hmmm never thought of that.

I find that tea, especially hi-caff tea is better than energy drinks, but energy drinks are easier and more convenient.

My non-neurospicy friends can't believe how much caffeine I drink. It seriously don't work the same for me as it does for them.

I take methylphenidate and drink a lot of caffeine. I talked to my psychiatrist and she said caffeine effects ADHDers differently and to keep an eye on your intake but shouldn't be a problem.

That's what I was told. I'm not a doctor and don't even play one on TV. Everyone's body chemistry is different as well.

What's even stranger is that I can drink hi-caff beverages before going to bed and sleep like a baby. Go figure!

Looks like the last update was 12 months ago. Are you still updating it?

The best thing I can think of that is happening to Bluesky right now is that people and communities are spinning up 3rd party PDS servers and letting people join them. This is allowing, finally, the decentralization, of the AT Protocol.

That along with the folks at ANew.Social with their bounce and bridgy tools is making the inter-connectivity of the open web so much better.

Have any of you tried moving your Bluesky account to a new PDS?

Not true. You can follow Peertube from the other systems. You DO NOT need an account on each. Is it easier to use the platform natively? Yes. But you can follow threads on Lemmy from Mastodon and what not.

I'm so excited for the second Fediforum of 2025 in October. The first one earlier this summer was excellent.

Say what you will about what happened earlier in the year with on of the organizers. Johannes has done a good job finding new board members to ensure the Fediforum continues.

Any chance of supporting Mbin/Kbin and Piefed?

Matt Mullenweg went on The Verge's Decoder podcast at the end of June. Pretty enlightening. Also Tumblr isn't coming to the fediverse anytime soon. Bah!

I find this really weird. My doc says it's normal for those who have ADHD... my caffeine intake is quite a lot. I can down 3 monster zero sugar energy drinks and just be awake and not buzzing.

This is with my Concerta in me too.

Is this weird or just the ADHD experience?
