I used to do that with Dick pics. Dick van Dyke, Dick Nixon, Andy Dick, Philip K. Dick ...

Magisk module SafetyNetFix used to bypass that and let banking apps work

I used to be an industrial chemist. We did esterification reactions to turn chicken fat and laxatives into oil field soaps by the truckload. So I guess mid-level organic chemistry?

Speaking only for myself, I generally try to contextualize before I write someone off as a "piece of shit"

I imagine you could take any popular song from today and find fault in 50 years as cultural norms change.

"The group also excluded vehicles with pedestrian automatic emergency braking systems," well fuck. Maybe there's a reason this is a standard feature on most new vehicles.

"the auto industry is embracing bigger, more brutish designs for its SUVs and trucks, ... and car buyers are increasingly buying into that marketing, snapping up these high-riding vehicles in record numbers." It's almost like there are no other options on the market as manufacturers chase fuel economy requirements.

You give me an update of a 90's-00's midsize truck like the Tacoma or Dakota and I'll write a check so fast the paper rips.

Why not have it drop as graphite. Could be compressed as diamonds or used as base stock for carbon fibers or carbon nanotubes or carbon future-space-filaments. More useful, more stable, and could be a more versatile export.

There is a Magisk module that bypasses that on Android. Look up SafetyNetFix.

There's something of a character and chapter like that in Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson. It's a good book otherwise, too.

Facebook is a subsidiary of Meta. Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet. Twitter had an edgy X logo slapped on top of the peeling paint. TheyAreNotTheSame.meme

For DISCO "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" was fun, if not funny. It's also the only episode I willingly rewatch as it's kind of a bottle.
