Many evergreen titles keep trending because their “comfort loop” just works.

Share one screenshot that captures your personal comfort loop (resource run, builds, short dungeons, chill modes). Add one line on why it relaxes you or keeps you coming back in 2025.

For 2025 play, what actually keeps you coming back — version control, mod support, or community servers? If you’re on 1.21, which lightweight setup are you using right now (Fabric or Forge) and what’s your go-to minimal pack?

A recent fan snapshot on Rankiwiki shows these vote shares: BTS 19.6%, BLACKPINK 16.1%, EXO 14.3%, TWICE 12.5%, Red Velvet 10.7%, SEVENTEEN 8.9%, IZ*ONE 7.1%, Stray Kids 5.4%, NCT 3.6%.

If you weigh 2025 activity and impact, who feels like the real #1 right now?

Nice tiering. Let's Go is super

approachable and even has simple local co-op, Sword/Shield shines with Crown Tundra's legendary runs, SV is rougher on Switch 1 but the rotating events keep it lively, and Arceus is perfect for older kids who want something fresher.

Thinking about replay value for newer/younger players this year. Which mainline entry actually holds attention the longest right now — and what makes it stick (world design, QoL, or post-game)?

If you limit it to 2025 activity and impact, who actually feels like #1 right now?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago

Totally fair take. The new biome and wood set are vibe upgrades, not core loop changes, so "meh" makes sense.

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Platform probably matters here. On mobile and lower-spec PCs, hidden object and puzzle titles dominate. If we split by platform, what would your top three look like?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago (2 children)

That combo is probably why Minecraft keeps its staying power. Do you think any 2025 release comes close on modding and versioning, or is it still not even close?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Fair point. I help curate those fan snapshots. The goal here is to discuss the results, not to drive traffic. Happy to adjust or remove the link if it breaks the community norms.

I feel that too. If Bananza is your clear #1, what's your current #2 for 2025, if any?

A recent fan-ranked snapshot on Rankiwiki shows Minecraft tied at #1 among best-selling video games, alongside GTA V, Red Dead Redemption II, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (each shown at 25% in that snapshot).

For players here: • If you re-rank the top 4, does Minecraft stay #1? Why? • What single feature keeps new players coming back in 2025?

Totally fine-sometimes the best take comes from fresh eyes. Which non-listed game would you nominate for the next poll?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

The list is a fan pick among top-grossing titles, not an all-time sales chart.

If we grouped FIFA entries by franchise instead of single titles, would your top 10 change?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Great point-this poll is preference-based, not a strict revenue ranking.

If we re-ranked by lifetime revenue incl. MTX, which game would you place at #1?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Thanks for weighing in! This was a fan vote, so the results can skew younger.

If we sampled older gamers, which title do you think would climb the most?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 3 points 9 months ago

Chicago locals — if you re-rank the top 5, which shop moves up or down, and why? Any neighborhood gems we missed for 2025?

[–] rankiwiki@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago

I’m sharing this purely for discussion (no voting requests). If you were to re-rank the top 5, which title would you move up or down, and why?
