I only found out about it recently. It is still pretty offensive, but in a hilarious way.

I did watch the dub, which based on some of the subs I've seen, the dub is filthier!

If you look close enough you can see the water mark. Pretty sure it's shopped.

The downside of the stickers are probably that they are not real.

They recently released the closed beta, and gave streamers HEAPS of keys.

Jump on any of the streamers playing Battle Aces and enter their giveaways. I managed to snag a key for myself yesterday. https://twitch.tv/directory/category/battle-aces

So far:

  • works on Linux via proton-GE
  • 10 minute maximum games which I really like having a family. I can jump on have a quick 1v1 and jump off
  • instant build for units makes for a unique mechanic and honestly is quite fun
  • 1v1 was instant queue times
  • 2v2 (with a friend) took over 5 minutes, not sure if bug, or no-one was on
  • region based queues I think, and you can change it in the options

All in all I could see myself playing this for at least 2 months on this single map, and with more maps I could play it for a long time

The-Eye has already backed up all of Subscene into a torrent. Only 90GB.

Download the backup and never need to find subs (for older content) again

The trek show was too trekky? So we removed the trek so now it's just a show

They are no more safe than sending a message like this :). Except you would be the only person it's targeted for. besides the admins of both instances can read them as well.

Which is why I'm the web interface it says it's not safe/e2e encrypted.

Worried about it? Add a matrix handle to your profile and then it enables a "send a secure message" button in the UI. And redirects people to use matrix to send messages to you

It is because you are resisting fingerprinting. You have to allow fingerprinting to watch twitch in a browser now.

Honestly, chatterio & streamlink is a way better combo.

Riseup is free because it is made by people who want the internet to be better. The same way tor is free.

But you should be donating if you find it useful. And I could nearly guarantee that a service that is used for censorship resistance that gets used for P2P will go from nice and fast to ungodly slow

The liftoff app has the ability to show multiple accounts across multiple instances.

Also... Lemmy.world has/will become the default at this point in time. When you eventually get big enough you even up having to cater for the "laws".

Are they defederating from instances that are neutral as well? Or defed'ing from the privacy instances?
