Her statements about this are almost like asking someone when they quit beating their wife. Ridiculous.

Rite Aid said in a statement that it’s “pleased to reach an agreement” with the FTC but added that “we fundamentally disagree with the facial recognition allegations in the agency’s complaint.” The tech was a pilot program and was only used in a “limited number of stores. The test stopped more than three years ago before the FTC’s investigation began.

Ah yes, we quit breaking the law before you found out so would like to retain the ability to do it again in the future.

All of this should be illegal, everywhere, by any entity, forever.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see in the article the reason why the stockpile I'd being sold. This I want to know.

I don't personally have any issues with the website on mobile, I wonder if it could be browser related? I'm also not expecting perfection from something that hasn't been around very long, and never was on reddit so have nothing to compare it to.

I think you have valid points about "dealing" and "learning" and for some, that will be a turnoff. For me, it is an adventure 🙂

One of the craziest interactions I have seen was when a Peregrine Falcon attacked a Canada Goose in flight. We were watching the goose fly up canyon and the peregrine must have thought it was too close to its nest or something. Only time I've heard a goose make a sound like that!!

These comments are interesting. I have never washed rice, nor even considered it. Now I want to try it out and see what difference I can experience!

Haha no, nothing like that. We were riding on a narrow, windy, river road in the mountains. No ability for cars to pass, but many places for slow moving vehicles to move o er and not even have to stop! Essentially, they wanted the cars to share the road with them but they wouldn't share with the cars. Most people in that area don't care to pause, but after passing multiple pullouts they can become irritable.

I know this is fuckcars but that particular situation was, for me, untenable.

I don't have the answer, but about 10 years ago I was invited to go on a group ride. I'm more of a commuter, but have done longer rides. Anyway, the behavior of the folks I was with made me never want to ride with others again. It was terrible! I think that is why pedal bikes get lumped into this scenario. You could replace the pickup with a Porsche and I think it would be the same scene.

This sounds much more adorable than the parents probably want it to sound.
