The other day I got an email from spectrum

(1) change to your status

The email was an ad for their TV select service. They are scummy on every level. I had them come to fix my internet like 8 times since I get lagged out of online games hourly and sometimes every 10 minutes. I even had one say everything is fine, if I call again they'd charge me.

Absolutely can't wait till a fiber company supports my home.

Are you tunneling for just the 5g connection to expose your services or just tunneling everything?

Ah that's a shame. Probably still built better though. Mines handle keeps failing and it stays down so it dumps my entire tank lol

From my limited Raspberry PI experience I believe their single core performance isn't great and synapse at least is single threaded. You'd have to use workers to utilize the other cores. If you have multiple pi devices you could also utilize workers on different pis and hosting postgres on one. Using only one, it would likely be quite slow like others noted.

I like the school zone ones where it shows 15 even though there is no flashing to indicate its 15. It'd need to be smarter to govern by this detection. Perhaps emitting a wireless signal even to make it harder to miss?

This part is the worst part IMO. Designed a currency conversion system so you always put more money in it than you need to purchase the item this does two things and both are a win for the corporate.

  1. Always have unspent money in the account, so kind of like a bank or gift cards, they get the money earlier when it's worth more and can be utilized to get more faster.
  2. Incentivize the customer to be a repeat customer because you will "waste" your current credits if left unused, so you'll follow the lost cause fallacy when something you want hits the store, but not really need.

Not trying to discredit or anything but in #4 1 shot is surely good compared to emptying his clip, but shooting or aiming a gun at somebody, the intent can't be "non-lethal".

While the CEO didn't unfortunately and I'd consider that an injustice, the other 2 did.

Baugh was among seven former employees who ultimately pleaded guilty to charges in the case. He was sentenced in 2022 to almost five years in prison. Another former executive, David Harville, was sentenced to two years.

I believe it was a CSV file of every item in all of the shops (comma separated values) and it was being read and stored into memory single threaded so it was maxing out a single core on the CPU.

Mine went from an email "Congratulations your order is being processed!" On June 22 to delayed with estimated ship date June 28th - July 5th. What's everyone else that pre-ordered looking like?
