It's not just weight but friction. Depending on the flooring you could add a rubber pad to the bottom of the piece to help. If you do go the cavity route, steel washers are pretty cheap and would be heavy, or as someone else suggested, some lead weights will work.

I also don't get them on Jerboa. What instance are you on? I think that communities wont show up in your instance unless someone has already accessed them. If you search directly for the ones in the post above, they should show up. I think you have to put an exclamation mark in front of the term. E.g.

I don't get why people are so impatient. The amount of users on this instance that exploding heads is affecting in minute. The rules on the vote say a week and, in the discussion, people have been pointing out that defederation is not the only option, the discussion has been valuable.
This isn't life threatening so maybe just chill out and let it play its course. If it's stressing you out so much feel free to do as your username suggests and quit this instance because afaik this is an instance for people with some level of patience.

Firstly, it's a brand new post, terrible stuff is going to get posted until moderation becomes better.
Secondly, ok it's posted to a hateful and shitty community called ihatetroons which also shouldn't exist, but we don't know how new that community is or if the exploding heads mods are going to get rid of it.
Finally, this post should be removed and a new discussion thread should be generated with the title, 'should we defederate from exploding heads'. That discussion should be used to gather evidence for defederation and request that mods here open a discussion with the exploding heads mod team to find out what their intentions are. Defederation can then be voted on in the weekly vote.

I'm not saying your argument is wrong but if someone wants to manipulate a community bad enough, they will find a way.
When the community it big enough to worry about voter manipulation then there will be resources to counter it.
I would go as far to say don't use on screen keyboards at all. Use an app. I know they have to have something for those who don't have smart phones but Chromecast is a breeze to use compared to every other smart TV I've had to deal with.
WRT the storage, would you prefer us use something like Imgur or is there an element of understanding scaling because we'll want to use the integrated image host in the long run?
