In a car, no not really, that is going to make everything in your life a lot harder and less comfortable. I feel like a car would be a last resort, I have no other options, kind of thing.

I lived in a van for just over 2 years though and honestly I miss it. I don't just miss the extra money I had from not paying rent but I also miss being able to stay where ever I wanted and waking up next to the beach or in a forest.

Finding public torrents for audio books is utter bullshit in my experience. Myanonamouse has a massive selection, is friendly and well organised and doesn't have absurd rules, just reasonable ones.

I love the place.

For anything else not audio book related public trackers work just fine for me.

Oooo one of the main things stopping me from coming over to Linux is the fact that one of my primary uses is djing, currently I use traktor and have tried mixxx in the past but haven't really got on with it.

Definitely going to give this a go to see how it has improved as I haven't tried it out for a few years and maybe I can finally make the shift away from windows!

As someone who only consumes books in audiobook form this is great news for me, I tried to listen to some automatically generated audio books around 2 years ago and I found them horrible to listen to just because they sounded so off.

I'd love to be able to copy in the text of a book and get actually listenable (is that a proper word?) audiobook out of the other side for some books that will just simply never be recorded by actual people due to being too old / obscure.

I've been wanting to be able to listen to the Pelucidar books for years but they just don't exist in audio format, is there somewhere publically available that I can do this?

I'd really love an audio book service like Netflix but 15 hours is a joke, that is 2 days worth of listening for me personally and a lot of books you wouldn't be able to finish in that time.

I've tried the majority of the audio books services out there and they are all a load of shit, I think I'll stick to piracy at this point, at least then I can keep the books I enjoy too to come back to again.
