Mein Standardspruch ist ja: "Und dann ist da dieser eine Typ in kurzer Hose". So bei Wetter, wenn sich alle Sorgen machen bei Glatteis nicht hinzufallen - dann kommt da dieser eine Typ an, Hände in den Hosentaschen und kurze Hose. Und es ist immer ein anderer Typ. Aber es ist dieser eine Typ.

I wanted to go for a desert camo look for these two and after some dry brushing over speed paint I am quite satisfied. Dry pigments on the legs will always look good too.

The lance for the "play this first" scenario from the starter box is painted and ready. I wanted to go for an "urban night battle camo" look but the metallics turned out a bit too shiny I guess. I still like the result.

I want to build myself a spine tester to calculate the spine value of arrow shafts using the ASTM F2031 standard. I do know that I need a 880 gram weight and that I have to measure the amount of flex that the shaft produces when I hang said weight at the center of a 28 inch span off the shaft.

Well, but what then? I can measure the amount of deflection I have then but let's say the shaft is deflected by 1/12th of an inch or some millimetres. How do I calculate a spine value that ranges between 20 to 80 from that?

Can anybody give me a hint or solution?
