What if it's the CEO of mental health

I saw the following meme the other day on that topic which I found amazing:
On the other hand I hope my point was clear about pink being perceived as a color when it doesn't exist as a singular wavelength on the electromagnetic spectrum: something the person I was responding to was seemingly arguing that it then invalidates what we might call a "color". By his logic "pink" shouldn't be considered a color, which I disagree with!
Did you know we only experience pink as our red and blue cell receptors being stimulated at the same time? There is no pink wavelength.

Maybe not as feature complete but should be a good alternative
French gov didn't collapse, just got a stupid president that needs to stop messing with democracy
- "far-right" gains lots of seats during european deputy elections
- people shocked
- Macron somehow figures this means people have new priorities and dissolves the general assembly
- new elections
- expected a swing victory for "far-right"
- they actually lose seats
- left coalition comes out on top, but with relative majority of seats only (<50%)
- unexpected but welcome turn of events
- issue: since no one has absolute majority it's difficult to vote stuff
- budget
- Macron wants (NEEDS) to fix the debt issue
- they'll cut expenses in public services, mass layoffs
- left coalition wants to find the missing money not by cutting but by taxing places where money accumulated (i.e. The Rich™)
- left lands amends in the budget plan
- prime minister overrules the plan using "49.3" and approves the initial Fuck The People <3 Budget Plan™
- this unlocks the prime minister's ejection seat button
- prime minister is ejected
- Macron needs to pick yet another prime minister, hopefully this time he won't put one of his cronies to overrule the elected majority's priorities
The secret ingredient is misinformation.
The current left isn't "far-left" at all. Is it far-fetched to protect essential needs of your popular classes like keeping public services operating, ensuring proper education and healthcare while hunting down corporate abuse of public funds? All while proposing a balanced budget for it? That's what I would expect the government doing, and this is the reason the NFP made all its amendments to the budget that was being prepared. That is, until Michel decided to pull a 49.3 to override the decision and get rid of the amendments Emmanuel didn't like. You have to understand that the president gets to select his own prime minister, no one gets to vote.
Having said that, neither the left nor the right wanted Michel as prime minister and each had their own ideas about who should take the position, so it's in everyone's interest (except Macron) to eject him and then push for their own candidate. This is possible after Michel issuing a 49.3.
This is the system working as expected with the current rules, and a president that clings to power very very desperately with forces trying to fight him back while also fighting amongst themselves when they get a chance.
But boy did I wish Emmanuel's gang didn't cling as hard to power like they're doing. It feels very underhanded.
Everyone
Not everyone does or thinks what you describe, no one except the people you consider the opinions of. So ignore this noise, and focus on the rest that don't do those things. You are not responsible for what others do. Keep your own messaging consistent about equality and fairness and forget about what others may say online. Support creators that were hurt by others if you feel it will help. Remember that your are not responsible for what others do.
There's no point in doing anything in this world.
You understand that this attitude is what's keeping you down right? We always had to derive the source of meaning from ourselves for anything we do. As example I try to create in order to either make people's lives easier, or to immerse them in interesting worlds. You may create games to elicit all kinds of emotions in your players too. And again: ignore the noise, focus on the actual positive impact you may have delivered. Make the positive outweigh the negatives. You feel like doing nothing? Take a temporary break, seek professional help.
It's ok to vent but bathing in self-misery is not. Seek help outside of Lemmy. Nothing seems inherently wrong with you, your frustration is justified, the world doesn't end here. Being tired is ok, you can take a break to calm down, damp the noise, and find what you can do to make the world nicer and more interesting. You don't need to fix everything.
Maybe I just didn't get the point of this community and this post, but I wish you to stop focusing on misery and find that you can be your own beacon of light and that others went through what you are going through.
Nothing sounds awful about you from your post, rather it sounds like you cannot take how people in your current circles treat you.
This situation is not going to last if you distance yourself from the people that cause you to suffer. Family? Acquire your independence, don't mention "The Special Activities". "Friends" that ask for weed? Put distance from them, ignore who you can afford to.
There are people out there that will not put as much a burden on you.
In the meantime you can ignore special treatment people give you, despite how frustrated it might make you feel: why would it actually prevent you from making anything? Make it and ignore comments.
