I know not every tune in 5/4 is "Take Five," but this definitely had a "Take Five" feel. Nice job!

Oh, so this is an Onion-type, just super niche. Got it.

Or maybe "It's the End of the World as We Know It."

Tears and toilet paper.

I think it's a worthy sequel. There were parts that lost me a little the first time through, but I've come to enjoy the ride that these books send you on. I'd place the third book above the second, but it's difficult to match the iconic level of the first. I enjoy them all.

Listening to "The Republic of Thieves" by Scott Lynch for the second time. Just started reading "Artemis" by Andy Weir for the first.

I wouldn't have questioned it without seeing your comment, but now I'm doubtful. I can't make out what's on any of their shirts. They look garbled like an AI image, but it could also just be really old. Hard to tell.

Whole Foods can only benefit from having workers who are happier, healthier, working harder, and staying longer because their union is taking care of them. This will improve the customer experience, which will improves sales. It's a win-win-win.

The only people who lose here are corporate assholes looking to exploit their workers and the general public who will be spoon fed some twisted, anti-union, anti-worker version of this story.

They donated millions to Trump in exchange for future handouts, tax cuts, and deregulation. They'll still get all that, of course, but they also got tariffs, chaos, and government programs too gutted and dismantled to assist them with programs they might depend on.

The enshittification continues...

Is there a way to play without having to deal with ads (or their over-priced subscription)?

I'm really enjoying Lemmy and Memmy so far, but even after downloading yesterday's update, I'm constantly having to re-enter my password.

If I force close the app and re-open it, I need to enter my password. If I just minimize the app for a minute or more, I have to enter my password when I come back. If I don't enter my password, it doesn't show any of my subscriptions.

Is there a fix I'm overlooking? Again, I downloaded yesterday's update and double-checked to make sure there's not another update available (as of right now, there's not). I'm using Lemmy.world if that makes a difference.

Thanks for any help!
