Saying What Can't Be Said: Israel Has Been Defeated – a Total Defeat

The war's aims won't be achieved, the hostages won't be returned through military pressure, security won't be restored and Israel's international ostracism won't end

I want to believe this is a 1980s South Africa moment. But for all the "wha! wha! Our international reputation!" I simply won't hold my breath waiting for the 30,000 dead Palestinians and 1.4M refugees to enjoy any kind of retribution.

The killing hasn't even stopped yet. The famine drags on. All the Israelis seem to care about is their next-quarter GDP figures. But for Gaza it is so much fucking worse.

U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney on Thursday sentenced Tyler Laube to time served, totaling 35 days he had spent in pretrial custody.

Prosecutors had recommended a six-month sentence.

Laube pleaded guilty last year to a misdemeanor charge for repeatedly punching a journalist — identified only as F.T. — who was covering the Huntington Beach rally.

In his plea agreement, Laube admitted to associating with members of the Rise Above Movement, which represented itself as a “combat-ready, militant group of a new nationalist white supremacy and identity movement.”

Online games will now be banned from giving players rewards if they log in every day, if they spend on the game for the first time or if they spend several times on the game consecutively. All are common incentive mechanisms in online games.

The new rules revealed on Friday are the most explicit yet aimed at curbing in-game spending. Besides banning reward features, games are also required to set limits on how much players can top up their digital wallets for in-game spending.

Games are also banned from offering probability-based lucky draw features to minors, and from enabling the speculation and auction of virtual gaming items.

His voice cracking at times, he said that’s why he worked so hard to see the national security aid pass the Senate this month, insisting “America’s global leadership is essential.”

  • Sometimes you can win a fight by not fighting, as fighting is actually really expensive and risky

  • Maybe consider feeding your army. That can be important both in times of war and peace.

  • Please do not lead a frontal charge uphill into a fortified enemy position. I can't believe I have to explain this to you fucking newbs, but it keeps happening so here we are.

  • Have you tried being sneaky?

  • Read history. Sometimes someone has done a thing before you and you can just copy their homework. Sometimes you can see someone else copying homework and use that to your advantage. Sometimes its just good to know about things other than what you, personally, have seen and done.

she’s not the first Gen Zer to complain about feeling tricked into pursuing further education.

A growing trend in business news journals is to tell people that pursuing college degrees is some kind of trap. It is downright sinister how the response to the student debt crisis has simply been to lie to young people about their future job prospects without a college degree.

If a Fortune Magazine reporter comes at you with a microphone, remember that you are acting in self-defense when you draw and fire.

It's crazy because he's writing this about... a single employee?

Literally just do it yourself.

Nobody fucking knows how anything works. Nobody knows who is supposed to know. Your boss pays $300/hr for a consulting firm to send another fresh-out-of-college-kid to tell you why the system you bought from a vendor who has produced exactly zero application guidance is malfunctioning, and that kid will spend the next two weeks learning how the damned thing works right alongside you.

This has been my life implementing the latest edition of RightAngle for the last two years. Just a stack of expensive third-party 20-somethings saying "Ah, fuck, never seen that before, let me get back with you in a week."

  • Liberals cannot do that because it would be illegal

  • There's nothing we can do about conservatives when they break the law, because they are too powerful

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Did the US neglect Hawaii? Impossible to say.

All I can say with certainty is that you're a traitor to the nation and a Russian shill far-right lunatic Chinese bot farmer should you suggest it was.

What kind of SICK FUCK just goes around all day wondering how to GENERATE ENOUGH FOODSTUFF FOR 1.4B PEOPLE

Its just so much fucking blood spilled.

I can't get over how many people are throwing their lives away over some dipshits in their respective capitals putting new lines on a map. Nightmarish to see Ukrainians and Russians alike march to their deaths over this shit.
