First time? Sometimes it hurts so so bad, but you've got to pretend it doesn't else the kid bursts into tears.

When my son was a baby he threw his head back suddenly and clocked me right in the jaw in the knockout place. Was all I could do to stay conscious! The throat though, that would hurt.

The initial hit wasn’t too bad. But is suspect he’s bruised something cause it’s sore to swallow now.
