Because the battlestations community is empty thanks to a community squatter I figure this is the next place for this kind of thing.
I had been using a light and flimsy IKEA table for a long time and decided it was time to get some real solid wood. Pretty expensive stuff, but it feels so much better. The tabletop isn't even that big, but it weighs about 70 lbs. Far less likely to move around by getting bumped.

Thatâs gorgeous. Thereâs a sweet shop near me with chandeliers like Chihulyâs glasswork hanging up. Now I know what the style emulates!
