LOL your timing is excellent, I was just about to post a separate comment cause the algorithm dug this up. This is an incredible piece of melbourne history! I had no idea this was a thing. Probably an interesting watch for anyone not into trains as well.

I was actually quite heavily involved with the Reddit community (though never a moderator) in it's early days. Not much, but my claim to fame is I was there when it was sub 100 members!That's one of my favourite YouTube train videos ever! Love Taitset. Funny I've travelled that route thousands of times and never noticed that gradient.
