I had a pet chicken in High School
No way I could kill it and eat it. Too adorable. Still won't eat chicken. Moar pet chickens!
I had one in elementary and middle school, she was great and I'll never hurt a chicken. Pepper was a sweetheart.
It's a good start but you should also not eat any other animals too
