I have a relative that's like that. He frets about having exactly perfect hair and it has to be styled pretty much exactly like
and if for any reason it falls out of place (or if anyone points out how it's thinning out over time) he gets really upset, like shrieking levels of upset.
And yeah, he was punched once in his life by someone that he pushed too far (by trying to assault that person's girlfriend) and he never, ever let that go and wishes death and annihilation on everyone that vaguely resembles the guy that punched him.
