The media tying themselves up into a pretzel to be outraged at the notion that war hawks like Cheney should go fight the wars they send working class people off to fight is pretty jokerfying. Anyone with half a heart is going to agree with Trump that people like Liz suck, but liberals have the memory of a goldfish and totally forgot 20 years ago when they protested her dad for the exact same shit.
Biden did exactly that with his eldest son and poisoned his younger son's brain with the fervent dogmatic hawkishness. McCain put five different planes into the ground fighting the Vietnamese, ffs. Kerry nearly got himself killed charging in on a Swiftboat. None of these assholes made the world a better place with their foreign policy. They were all just as ghoulish as their Obama/Bush/Clinton/Trump peers, who demured from joining a live fire zone.
I just don't think being in the shit matters when its so far in your rear view mirror by the time you take office. Hell, in cases like McCain, I think its worse as it helps you justify your rampant racist hate.
They can barely remember why the protested Trump eight years ago. Its really fucked.
Crashing five American planes can be considered "doing something good" IMO.

Yeah. Trump rightly said that warhawks like Cheney should be sent to the front lines and have barrels pointed at them, then they tried to twist it and say he was outright calling for her to be shot. Stupid shit that no one sane should care about.
