Had they handled it like any other murder, there wouldn’t be a support movement that practically calls for others to do the same.

I mean like, people would still celebrate the ceo dying regardless. I mean, once the news reported "Delay, Deny, Depose", that's it. People would be in support.

Sure, they would still celebrate and support it. But having a single news ticker item "CEO shot" simply does not make waves like non-stop coverage for multiple days does.

I want to know how much time and money they have spent tracking down this guy who killed one targeted individual versus how much money they spend on your average, non-CEO murder.

How many do the FBI get involved with? How much does the NYPD typically spend investigating each one? How many do they swear they will solve?
