Light pollution is awful, even in areas that are pretty rural sometimes. Stargazing is difficult outside of state parks and national forests where I’m from

Some are also just planes and helicopters with transponders off.

Was inevitable with modern smartphone cameras getting better zoom lenses. Now anyone can take a picture of these objects in the sky.
