Seeing this reminds me of when I saw The Last Jedi and I realized Star Wars was no longer for me. The weird marvel humor, fast-paced fight scenes, and multiple plot threads going nowhere made me tap out. All the kids in the theater thought it was the coolest thing ever and I have to remember that despite the protests of fans, children have always been a large part of who the series panders to.
Thank God I haven't seen these movies. The last Star Wars media I remember seeing, apart from The Force Awakens, was Tartakovsky's Clone Wars miniseries.
The animated TV shows are all pretty good, and Andor is the best thing Star Wars to ever exist. All the other live action shows are incredibly mid, and the sequel trilogy are flaming hot garbage
A lot of the good Star Wars stuff is intentionally made for kids - like the animated series and the new Skeleton Crew show.
Andor is probably the big exception. I'm setting my expectations for season 2 super low lol
