I mean you guys ban people who say things you don't like, they ban people for saying things they don't like... you both make lots of posts complaining about the other side. What's the point?
The difference is that I'm right and history will vindicate me lmao
Oh the whole their evil army and our righteous freedom fighters thing got it
Well, at some point you must realize you have to choose sides, right? Morality is a construct and it's subjective, and political ideas greatly draw from morality. Like, to me, slavery is bad for example. That's something I can affirm without any doubt: slavery is bad. And if someone tries to argue against it, I can only say "you're a fucking dickwad, slavery is bad, I'm right and you're wrong", because it is simply my moral standing. And I'd gladly ban anyone who disagrees.
With the particular topic of the post, which is the Uyghur "genocide", I'm willing to have this conversation with you: my position is that there is no evidence of any post-2021 generalised mistreatment of the Uyghur population within Xinjiang. I've tried to look for such evidence, I've been confronted several times by people trying to find such evidence, and every time it's been the same: either unsourced claims, links that after 2 clicks end up using "Radio Free Asia" as a source, or "we did an anonymous interview". To me, those aren't valid forms of evidence. If you feel differently, I will gladly have that conversation with you.
If they don't like your house and you don't like their house why continue going over? All you do is say stuff the other side says is false and then ban eachother and then you come home and get mad about being kicked out of their house.
I am not getting drawn into a debate about anything though so sorry
