Still, I disagree with your definition of vaporware. True vaporware is just that, vapor. Absolutely nothing to show for years of work and money.

Star Citizen is more of an expensive boondoggle. There's content, there's a somewhat playable game. It's not the most enjoyable content, but it's still something that's been released to play.

We likely won't ever see the fully promised game, but then again, Cloud Imperium isn't out of money yet. They just won't get any more from me. (And haven't since the kickstarter)
