I think that user is on an instance that doesn't federate with us :( You'll have to make an account over on lemmy.ml, I'm afraid.
nah no thanks, not if its ran by a lib lmao
That isn't just any user, it's a Beehaw admin. And @nutomic@lemmy.ml is mocking them for being a ban-happy admin who's asking someone else to block something.
Yeah but the top-level comment is from someone at slrpnk.net; if that instance federated, we wouldn't see the beehaw admin arguing (rightly) in favor of dropping the nazis from join-lemmy, but we'd still see Nutomic's response to the top-level comment and could call him a lib there.

They did the same preemptive defederation lemmy world did, despite user disagreement.
Solarpunk instance has no punk. It’s liberalism wanting a few more plants around. But at least they state upfront they are into aesthetics over politics, I guess?
Yeah I wasn't advocating for federating with them, just pointing out that it's that instance, not beehaw, that keeps us from seeing that part of the thread entirely. Honestly I think lemm.ee and lemmy.ml are providing a plentiful supply of libs to dunk on as it is, no need to add a bunch more (in retrospect we owe the dot world admins some gratitude lol)
Of course. The slander and libel of our admins and mods for being ‘toxic and lazy’ now makes sense with context.
