If I understand correctly, Gillette Aristocrat is not one razor, but a serious of different razors:
[Edit: @walden@sub.wetshaving.social beat me to the link](https://www.razorarchive.com/articles/gillette-aristocrat-history)
That being said, vintage Gillettes are good razors, and can be used for shaving every day. The 34C is a very mild razor, and whatever you may buy will likely be more efficient. I have a vintage Slim Adjustable, which is a great razor, and also a Black Beauty (which I like a bit less, but it was produced in my birthday quarter).
I can't speak to head shaving, but if you can get a vintage Gillette for a good price, go for it!
Thanks for that. It obviously wasn’t an aristocrat since it didn’t have the barber pole handle. And SDF went down all day so I couldn’t get back on here.
So I kept looking around, and checking the Mr razor information, it’s almost definitely it’s a 1949 aristocrat jr.
Anyway, I bought it so I’ll see better it’s condition when I get it, but the pictures looked like it’s just old and worn.
