Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

I realized I was missing people to argue with and got a lot more argumentative even when it wasn't necessary, my friends like me again now that I can let out my frustrations on people I don't know (and who have way worse arguments)

It's just natural (and scientific), if you hate pigs you hate 98% of the people

The lack of worm discourse from hexbear tankies is VERY telling

The only worms I know escaped Cuba because they were killing the slave owners

https://www.amazon.com/Arcadia-Garden-Products-WN55-Vermicomposting/dp/B0BWZXXCJC This style is cheap and can be kept in your kitchen where it doesn't smell. It composts up to 1lb of kitchen scraps per week and turns it into rich fertiliser. The little ecosystem that evolves inside is way more interesting than any ant farm.

https://unclejimswormfarm.com/order-stuff/composting-worms/ Red wigglers are one of the species of worms that are bred for composting. Ideally you have a mix of worms because they have different roles, but red wigglers on their own are good generalists. The only things they can't break down are dairy, fats, meats, and acidic produce.

This was honestly one of the funniest baits I've seen on this site

The Worm loves us. It will always love us, and thus it always has.
