That is not the only part of it. Most wars of agression are fought using fossil fuel money and often for fossil fuels. Ukraine, Sudan, Yemen come to mind. Going green makes the world more peaceful.

the resources in Ukraine are definitely part of the reason why Russia invaded but not the only one. the Russian population is in decline, so Putin needs to steal Ukrainian children to bring young people in. There's also the fact that Russia can only exist as an entity as an invading empire and Putin would otherwise be deposed if he stopped the war.

also most of the going green currently relies on China using Uyghur slave labor for their silicon factories. and China is invading their neighbors while going green at the same time.
