London somehow managed to make pissing in the bushes look comparatively more civilized and dignified then using a public toilet.

i mean it seems like a roundabout version of the same system in some US cities too. there are essentially no public toilets in NYC and the cities' official guideline is to go into businesses to use the bathroom which will often only be open to paying customers. have to imagine it's a problem more or less in any city in capitalism, they're hostile spaces to humans where you're supposed to buy stuff or fuck off basically
