For anyone who doesn't want to click through, she had two very dangerous cancers detected through regular endocrinology lab screenings and during FFS, respectively.
Personally I wish the US was a country that prioritized regular in depth health screenings for everyone, but I'm really glad she was able to get the treatment she needed to survive through transitioning!
