Lol “New York income tax is why everybody leaves” is a very popular talking point in Upstate New York. They forget that the emigration rate is so high because it’s upstate new york.
“The income taxes are why people are leaving!” I say about my dying shithole small town where you have to drive 30 minutes to get to anything and there are no jobs for anyone with a degree except for doctors.
