Yes, read the Zhuan Falun, their closest thing to a canon text, and see how long you can last before going
Ok so its a religious text.

The whole thing consists of using terms without defining them so that they can mean whatever they want.

Countless civilizations on Earth going back 70,000 or maybe billions of years? Yeah that's the end of my consideration.

Quite possibly. Syncretic religions/movements aren't bad but this one got way into woo territory, with a persecution complex from the very start. I found the Zhuan Falun years before I became a communist, and had very mixed feelings about Falun Dafa. It makes a lot of sense that it is a "movement of the expats".
