Probably started out as satire/half satire but it is definitely a place filled with hate and should defederated imo.
Remember that the donald on reddit started as a satire subreddit. Q-anon theories were originally 4-chan trolls...
Allowing users to block entire instances is the #1 feature I would like to see on Lemmy
