So I was just messing around in the steam app and I came across steam points. Are these new? It seems to indicate I can use them for games but I don’t see any options. I have a quarter of a million of them. Are they useful in any way?

I've gotten a handful of free games from selling boosters, and the higher your level the bigger the booster chance is.

Well now I'm a little intrigued, I may have to look into that I have like 2 million steam points I might as well make them useful.
