I had like almost 100 uncategorized bookmarks, and whatever was already categorized could use some finetuning as well. So I spent about 1-2 hours on making my browser's bookmark bar really neat.

I deleted bookmarks which weren't relevant anymore and added some more bookmark folders to make everything less cluttered. The sites I want to access quickly is only one click away, the rest is buried in folders. It's synced so everything is stored safely in the cloud.

I'm happy with this, I could still find my stuff but this is an improvement.

Heh, those twin towers are a nice touch. :P

I never turn off my solar panels, not even during a storm. What would the advantage be?

Agreed that it is dumb. I think they should at least make it so that the gifter pays the same price as you would've paid. I got a gift card from my friend instead so I could buy the stuff myself. It was very silly.

Looks Indonesian to me. After a quick search it seems to be indeed Indonesian. Might be Garuda, a mythical bird from Indonesian mythology, originated from Hindu.

That's nuts.

Addendum, that 'similar temperatue on high load' is because it's thermal throttled at that point. See that it went from 2.9GHz to 1.6GHz. It won't ever reach 100 degrees or close to that because of this safety feature.

That's a bit hot for idle, yes. Probably a good time to clean out the fans and apply new thermal paste.

That does sound fun. Our ancient scrabble board had two sticks with little wheels at both ends, and you could place them on the table crossed. Then you could place the board on it and then it could be rotated to whoever had to place the letters now.
Just got reminded of that.

Where to begin... You should get familiar with Obsidian first and just use it and see what features you are missing and want to add. It's sooo easy to get into the plugins rabbit hole. 😅

That said, I use quite a few QoL plugins. My three main ones are:

  • File Tree Alternative to replace the default file explorer with.
  • Dataview for displaying tables with (meta)data from your notes.
  • Tag Wrangler for easily mass-editing the tags.

Oh is that what the result_id in the URL is for?

I think I might've spotted an unintended side-effect, actually not sure if that was there already but it grabbed my attention now:

On the first page of my feed, when I select the menu of a post to go block the community that this post is in, the page changes into that community with the mention above that it's hidden now, and when I page-back I return to my feed with that post not visible anymore.

Now on the second and later pages, if I do the same, and then do a page-back, the post is not hidden anymore. Refreshing doesn't hide it either, I have to redo my scrolling from page 1 onwards if I wanted those communities that I just blocked to be hidden.
