Jose Vega is a self-identified LaRouchite, supporter of Lyndon LaRouche. He ran against Ritchie Torres as a candidate of the LaRouche party in 2024 and got 2% of the vote. Lyndon LaRouche was a former Trotskyist who adopted far right policies and allied with Ronald Reagan. Lyndon LaRouche also communicated with the CIA. Jose Vega is basically the equivalent of Jackson Hinkle or Jimmy Dore.

The reason why I mention this is because Jose Vega seems like an opportunist. Before October 7, there is video of Jackson Hinkle praising Netanyahu. Now Jackson Hinkle presents himself as pro-Palestine every day. The reason is opportunism. The first time that I see Jose Vega ever mention Israel or Palestine was to criticize Ritchie Torres in 2023. It makes me think that Jose Vega only uses Palestine as a tool to use to gain popularity.

Joe Vega has also praised Jackson Hinkle, Caleb Maupin, Jimmy Dore in 2022 or maybe earlier.

i don’t know man, they seem fairly weak downsides for an average human. dnc was once a rabidly pro-slavery party. i doubt he was praising hinkle or just one of his views.
